* Fence day teardown is on Saturday June 27th, starting at 8:00 am. At least one representative from each team is required to participate. Remember that ALL teams have benefited from the fences and that it is unfair to expect just a few people to take down the fences. Failure to send a representative may affect your status as a volunteer next year. Please mark your calendars NOW.
Thanks.

Thank You.
NPLL Board of Directors.
A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT...
Welcome to another season at North Park Little League Baseball Inc. Your Board of Directors are already in high gear preparing for the 2009 season. As we reflect back on the hard work in 2008, I wish to thank those volunteers who made it possible. We had a great year in 2008, and hope to repeat it and more in 2009. Last year saw some great changes and more investment of your fees back into the league. We purchased break away bases for all fields as mandated by Little League. We repaired the majors fence and as you may have noticed, Old Glory was once again flying proudly from our flag pole. Also, we added a North Park Little League flag to fly as well. Our new uniforms we a big success and we are looking forward to see all our kids in those same type of uniforms. Look for some additional colors offered this year as well.
As was the case last year, volunteers will now be wearing ID badges to help you identify league officials. Board members will be wearing blue badges, and all other volunteers will be wearing green ones. All badges will be issued after the required background check has been completed. Parents can now rest assured in knowing who all volunteers are, as well as knowing that all have passed the background check. We are committed to the safety and well being of your child.
Our sponsor banners on the outfield fences looked great and we hope to have more this year. We are now offering our sponsors the ability to purchase a 3’ x 5’ banner that can adorn any field fence they wish. Our hope is to fill the outfield with banners that will reflect a more old time baseball feel. If you or your company would like to sponsor a team and place a banner on a fence, consult our fundraiser board member for more information. You can find that link on our board icon on the website.
We are happy to announce that one of our majors team will be participating in the Clay Berry Tournament in San Bernardino. The team selected will play a weekend tournament at Little League’s Western Region headquarters. It is a fun time and all are invited to attend. More information will be coming later. Also, to help out in this time of economic crisis, we are now accepting credit cards for registration and sponsorships. We have more capital improvement projects in the works to ensure that current and future generations of players and parents can enjoy a quality baseball and softball program.
We at North Park Little League Baseball Inc., are committed to providing the best baseball and softball experience for everyone. Our league functions from the work of a great many volunteers who donate countless hours of time. We are grateful for those who help out, and we are always looking for more people that want to participate in such a wonderful organization. Please let me know if you would like to contribute in keeping North Park Little League Baseball Inc. great.
"Hope to see you on the field!"John Perretta
