2021 Spring Training Registration is NOW OPEN!
Registration is now open for NPLL’s 2021
Spring Training
Spring Training will run during the months of March, April, and May with sessions once or twice a week. Kids will be assigned to a team of no more than 12 players and 4 coaches (for a total of 16) and will practice/play independent of other teams. Sessions will follow all current Federal, State, and County guidelines related to COVID-19.
The registration fee is $40.00
Below is the Board of Directors’ reasoning for organizing a spring training now, rather than planning for a traditional Spring Little League season. For those of you who simply would like to register for a practice team, please do so here:

Reasoning behind scheduling Spring Training practice teams
Like you, NPLL would like to hold a Spring Little League season. At the same time, like you, NPLL has no idea what the public health emergency will look like come March, or April, or May, or June. What NPLL does know is that it can, consistent with State and County health protocols, hold some type of baseball activities.
Instead of putting off a decision as to what our Spring will look like, while hoping for the best, NPLL has decided to plan for what is currently possible. We want to provide a measure of certainty to our members and provide as best as we can under the circumstances a place in which kids can come together and play some baseball.
Right now, State and County health protocols do not allow for youth sports to play games or engage in competition. They do not allow for scrimmages. All that is currently allowed is the formation of a “stable cohort” of no more than 16 individuals (including adult coaches) that may practice among themselves.
That is all that is currently possible. NPLL is a member of this community and must abide by current public-health guidelines.
Should the public health situation change, NPLL will reevaluate what is possible. If the State and County decide that youth sports can engage in games, NPLL will do everything it can to get back out to Morley in a more traditional fashion. Until that happens, however, NPLL is going to try to achieve what is possible.
The 2021 Spring Training will be as successful as we, as a league, make it.
We hope you will join us.
Sincerely,
NPLL Board of Directors
